Why doesn’t Private Choices offer Surgical Abortions?
Natural is better! Surgical abortion is not necessary for early pregnancy. It is too invasive. The Aspiration Procedure and the Abortion Pill are the best methods because they are simple, natural and have fewer complications.

How do you compare the Abortion Pill to the Aspiration Procedure?
The Aspiration Procedure and the Abortion Pill are both excellent methods. The advantage of the Aspiration Procedure is that it’s quick, it doesn’t require a routine follow up visit, you leave our office knowing the pregnancy is over, and there is less bleeding. The advantage of the Abortion Pill is that it can be completed in the privacy of your own home.

How is Private Choices different from an Abortion Clinic?
We are completely different! Our approach is to offer abortion like any other medical care. Our doctor sees you privately in one examination room. Your friend or family member can stay with you. We only offer the Abortion Pill and the Aspiration Procedure. We have only women doctors and staff.

Will I be able to get pregnant when I want to?
Absolutely! The Aspiration Procedure and the Abortion Pill do not interfere with your chances of getting pregnant. Any abortion is very safe, but the rare risks of a surgical abortion (D&C) have to do with the general anesthesia, the scraping of the uterus, and the use of an electric suction machine and metal instruments. We do not utilize any of these with our natural procedures!
